Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was born on July 4, 1965 in Palakeedu village, Madhira Mandal, Khammam district. His family background, rooted in Dalit struggle and social justice, shaped his lifelong commitment to the upliftment of the marginalised.
He pursued his education with great determination and went on to become a distinguished leader of the Indian National Congress in undivided Andhra Pradesh and later in Telangana. He is a five-time MLA from Madhira constituency, a testament to the unshakeable trust the people repose in him.
In December 2023, following the Congress party's historic victory in Telangana, Sri Bhatti Vikramarka was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister, holding the crucial portfolios of Finance, Planning, and Legislative Affairs.
A lifelong advocate for Dalit and tribal rights. Sri Bhatti Vikramarka has consistently fought for reservations, scholarships, and equal opportunities for SC/ST communities.
